Roxel UK Spreads Festive Cheer with Christmas Charity Initiatives.
At Roxel UK, we are passionate about supporting local charities. As we enter the final days before Christmas, we have ramped up our efforts to spread the festive cheer and support many good causes.
This year, the company has undertaken a heartwarming initiative to support charities during Christmas. From donating presents to the children’s ward at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, to organising a Christmas Jumper Day, a Cardless Christmas, and bumper Christmas Raffles, Roxel UK is hoping to make a positive impact in the community this Christmas.
Christmas Present Donations to Worcestershire Royal Hospital’s Children’s Ward.
Nobody likes to think of anyone being in hospital during the holiday season so extending our warm wishes is just a small way of helping to bring smiles to patients faces. Our staff have kindly bought and have wrapped presents for the children that will be on the ward at Worcestershire Royal Hospital on Christmas Day, spreading Christmas cheer at a challenging time.
Christmas Jumper Day at Roxel UK.
It wouldn’t be Christmas if there wasn’t a Christmas Jumper Day and our staff have definitely embraced the festive knitwear this year. Our Summerfield site has turned into a colourful and cheerful place to work whilst fundraising for the British Heart Foundation.
Donations to Kidderminster Foodbank.
Staff have such a great sense of community at Roxel UK and helping those struggling in these challenging times. Donating nine bags of food to Kidderminster Foodbank is just a small way of supporting families that might need extra help this Christmas.
Feeling lucky with our Christmas Raffle.
In fact, we actually have two raffles running this December. The first of the Christmas raffles are for some beautiful hampers which are fundraising for the British Heart Foundation and Forest Dog Rescue. Our second raffle is the prize of hospitality tickets for Kidderminster Harriers FC, which we are new team Sponsors. The lucky winners have the chance to win hospitality tickets on the 23rd and 30th December, with proceeds of the raffle going to Forest Dog Rescue.
Have a very Merry ‘Cardless’ Christmas.
In an effort to reduce waste and environmental impact, Roxel UK has embraced the concept of a “Cardless Christmas.” Instead of traditional holiday cards, we are encouraging employees to express their well-wishes electronically and donate to our chosen charities. As well as the Company donating £500 to each chosen charity which are Forest Dog Rescue and British Heart Foundation.
In our celebratory year, Roxel UK have never been more committed to local charitable causes. Our plans for charity campaigns in 2024 are in full swing, and that wouldn’t be possible without the support of staff who are always so kind and generous with their time.
