A Successful Suppliers Day for Roxel UK
Roxel UK welcomed a selection of key suppliers to our Summerfield site in Kidderminster, Worcestershire on Wednesday 14th June for a proactive day of seminars and a site tour, with the aim of the day to develop a stronger supply chain built on integrity and collaborations.
Leading the proceedings, Adrian Banks Managing Director at Roxel UK, gave a business overview and forecast for the next five years reflecting on the opportunities and challenges ahead. Guest speaker Sue Maddox from MBDA, discussed customer and market perspective, followed by a presentation by Pierre-Vincent Usieto on the Roxel Group Supply Chain. There was also an insight into other aspects of the supply chain from wider members of Roxel UK’s senior team including Marc Stevenson, Ade Challonder and Richard Baldwin.
With over 40 delegates in attendance from 25 different companies, conversations were free-flowing between suppliers giving an invaluable insight into the synergy between each of the businesses. Roxel is dedicated to continually improving all aspects of the business, including supply chain, which is a critical part of the overall operation.
We value the commitment our suppliers give us with many who have worked with Roxel for a number of years. This supplier’s day provided a relaxed environment to reconnect with our long-term supply chain relationships as we enter our latest growth phase.
Feedback is always important to the Roxel team, so we were delighted to receive these comments after the day. Dave Regan, Business Industrial Solutions explained, “Today’s event was extremely useful and was a really beneficial insight into what Roxel is aiming to achieve. By sharing their vision for the future will allow us to better understand what we can offer as a business.”

Due to the success of the day, we anticipate making our Suppliers Day a more regular event so that we can work together collaboratively and keep pace in an ever-changing environment.
