New Health and Safety Manager Supports Expansion at Roxel UK.
The appointment of Joseph Lidster, the new Health and Safety Manager at Roxel UK, supports the expansion programme at their Summerfield site near Kidderminster, signifying a long-term commitment to staff and the defence industry.
As Roxel UK continues to grow and expand the manufacture of solid propulsion systems and related equipment for all types of rockets and tactical and cruise missiles, so too there has also been an increased focus on Health and Safety at their production site at Summerfield. A major part of this wave of change has been the appointment of Joseph Lidster, who joins the team as an experienced Health and Safety Manager, who’s key aims will focus on visibility, engagement, development and compliance.
Joseph Lidster, the new Health and Safety Manager at Roxel UK explains, “Although there has always been a dedication to Health and Safety at Roxel UK, I want to boost the support of the future expansion of the business by bringing my knowledge and experience that will increase safety even further across the site. Increasing the visibility of H&S, developing a better understanding of safety management and ensuring a consistent approach to regulatory and organisational compliance, are all key areas I will be focusing on over the next 12 months.”
